After departures, we visit Royal Windsor before arriving at our seafront hotel in Eastbourne, where a warming mulled wine will await you.
This morning, we travel to Brighton in all its seasonal glory, including the outdoor ice rink in front of the famous Royal Pavilion. We return for a festive afternoon tea at the hotel and, later, an evening of seasonal fun and fayre.
It's Christmas Day! Exchange your gifts and enjoy a traditional turkey lunch with all the trimmings in the comfort of your hotel! Why not take a bracing stroll along Eastbourne's seafront promenade or catch the King's speech on TV today? A light festive buffet will be available this evening.
Another morning excursion sees us visit the magnificent Beachy Head, home to the country's largest chalk cliffs, for a brief photo opportunity and the picturesque South Downs village of Alfriston. On our return to Eastbourne, we enjoy a visit to a local pantomime, a tradition loved by the young and the young at heart!
We journey home today.
Found in a Grade II listed building, The Burlington Hotel is ideally situated on Eastbourne's picturesque seafront, overlooking the Carpet Gardens and Eastbourne's Victorian Pier. The hotel offers an on-site restaurant, coffee lounge and bar.
