Step into history today as we travel to Windsor. Home to the majestic Windsor Castle, the world's largest and oldest inhabited castle, this historic gem is a testament to the grandeur of the past. You'll discover a lively town in a glorious riverside location with great shopping opportunities and restaurants. After plenty of time to explore, we continue to our hotel.
After breakfast, we travel to visit the Royal Botanic Gardens for Kew's annual Orchid Festival, a horticultural paradise in the heart of London. Each year, Kew brings a new theme to this beautiful celebration of the Orchid, allowing you to escape the winter outside amidst impressive glasshouses as you explore the exotic world of tropical plants, discovering the importance of these beautiful and diverse species. We return home later today.
Our accommodation for the trip is the modern Holiday Inn Slough Windsor. This 3-star hotel boasts a stylish brasserie restaurant, a Starbucks Café, and bright, spacious guest rooms equipped with tea/coffee facilities and internet access, ensuring a comfortable and connected stay.
