Read more about our holiday brandsWe start our journey north with a stop in Penrith, a historic Cumbrian market town. After free time, we continue to our Highland hotel. During our stay, we will be treated to a free bar each evening and a fabulous Jersey Boys tribute!
We travel to Stirling, a small city with a big history and known for its spectacular scenery. At the heart of its old town you'll find its crowning glory, the medieval Royal Palace of Stirling Castle, set on a craggy volcanic rock where it has stood for centuries as a stronghold with a turbulent past. Enjoy the highlights including the Great Hall of James IV, the marvellous Renaissance Palace of James V and the Chapel Royal of James VI with your included admission.
We visit award-winning Loch Lomond Shores. A converted waterside mill, it offers a cosmopolitan collection of shops and attractions overlooking the 'Bonnie Banks', including a Sea Life Aquarium and Bird of Prey Centre.
After a farewell warming hot toddy, we bid our Scottish hosts farewell and begin our journey south, calling at the iconic Gretna Green. After free time, we cross back over the border into England and return home.
Situated in the heart of Loch Lomond National Park, our hotel is a nineteenth-century inn with an on-site bar and restaurant serving British cuisine. Guestrooms are decorated with warm tones and equipped with TV, tea, and coffee-making facilities.
