We'll travel to Windsor for a visit to the Castle, the family home to British kings and queens for over one thousand years. Highlights include the State Apartments, the Semi-State Rooms and St George's Chapel. We enjoy exploring Windsor before continuing to our hotel.
After breakfast, we visit Richmond upon Thames, one of London's most attractive boroughs and home to Richmond Park, London’s largest Royal park. After some free time here, we continue to Hampton Court Palace with entrance included. Experience the public dramas and private lives of Henry VIII and his six wives in his favourite residence before exploring over sixty acres of gorgeous gardens and hedge mazes.
We travel to Kensington Palace & Gardens. This historic royal abode in a fashionable part of London was once home to Queen Victoria and Princess Diana and is now where William and Catherine, the Prince and Princess of Wales, reside. We later return home today.
Our accommodation for the trip is the modern Holiday Inn Slough Windsor. This 3-star hotel boasts a stylish brasserie restaurant, a Starbucks Café, and bright, spacious guest rooms equipped with tea/coffee facilities and internet access, ensuring a comfortable and connected stay.
