After departure, we travel by ferry to mainland Europe and continue to our overnight hotel in central France.

We continue into Spain and arrive on the Costa Brava, where we stay for the next two nights.

Enjoy a relaxed start before a guided excursion exploring the Costa Brava, including charming Tossa de Mar. Once a medieval fishing village, it now blends history with modern resort life. A traditional paella lunch is included today.

After checking out of our hotel, we head south to Barcelona: fabulously chic, cosmopolitan and one of Europe's oldest cities. A guided walking tour showcases many of the city's highlights, including the lively Barceloneta district and admission to Park Güell, Gaudí's hillside masterpiece with panoramic views. We'll also see the iconic Sagrada Família, Gaudí's extraordinary basilica still under construction more than 150 years after work began. Later, we board the overnight ferry to Mallorca, with comfortable en-suite cabin accommodation included.

We arrive early in Mallorca. Enjoy a day at leisure in your resort, ideal for relaxing before checking into your hotel for a five-night stay.

Our first excursion takes us to Mallorca's east coast. We begin in Porto Cristo, a characterful fishing village set at the end of a long, sheltered bay, with a charming mix of traditional stone houses and contemporary villas, before visiting Cala d'Or, a popular resort known for its pretty coves and former fishing harbours, which are now stylish marinas. The day includes a visit to the spectacular Caves of Drach (Cuevas del Drach), where a winding route reveals remarkable rock formations and underground lakes, including Lake Martel, said to be one of the world's largest subterranean lakes.

Enjoy a full-day guided tour to northern Mallorca, including the medieval town of Alcúdia, where ancient walls and narrow streets reflect the town's rich heritage.

Today's highlight is a visit to Palma de Mallorca, the island's vibrant capital. Modern in feel, yet rich in history and Mediterranean charm, you'll enjoy a guided walking tour to take in the key sights including Castell de Bellver, Spain's only circular castle, and the magnificent Gothic La Seu Cathedral overlooking the waterfront. Afterwards, enjoy free time to explore the promenade, historic lanes or elegant shopping streets as you wish.

Discover Mallorca's dramatic west coast as we visit Valldemossa, Deià and Sóller. Enjoy mountain scenery, coastal views, pretty streets and time to soak up the atmosphere in one of the island's most beautiful regions.

After breakfast, we travel to the port for our return ferry to the Spanish mainland, then continue to our overnight hotel on the Costa Brava.

We travel back into France for our final overnight stay before returning home next day by road and ferry.
