After this morning's departure, we travel to historic York. Why not soak up the seasonal atmosphere in the city's shopping streets or visit the majestic historic sites, such as the city's variety of museums, York Minster or the medieval city walls? Later, you'll be welcomed to our nineteenth-century manor house hotel with a Buck's Fizz reception followed by your evening meal and an evening of entertainment, fun and games.
NEW YEARS EVE After breakfast this morning we head into Hull with free time for a little retail therapy in the New Year sales. Later we take our seats for the early afternoon performance of the traditional rib-tickling festive panto (Oh yes we do!!), before returning to the hotel to prepare for our New Year celebrations. We start the evening with a glass of prosecco before our bagpiper leads you into the International suite for our Gala Dinner, complete with live music and fireworks plus disco and dancing to welcome the arrival of 2027.
NEW YEARS DAY A leisurely brunch is served before we take a scenic drive to the popular seaside resort of Bridlington, where you can explore the characterful old town and working harbour or enjoy a bracing stroll along the seafront to clear your head after last night's celebrations. We return to the hotel for our final dinner and evening of entertainment.
After checking out, we begin our homeward journey by crossing the iconic Humber Bridge. Our final stop on our New Year’s break is the historic city of Lincoln. Alongside it’s famous eleventh-century cathedral (that was once the largest building in the world), you’ll find the picturesque Lincoln Castle as well as a fantastic variety of high streets stops to explore too.
A nineteenth-century manor house nestled in twelve acres of landscaped gardens, this hotel is the ideal countryside location and is home to onsite leisure facilities.
