Today, our first visit is to beautiful Dartmouth, situated on the banks of the picturesque river Dart and renowned for its rich maritime heritage. The town's quaint streets are lined with boutique shops, galleries and excellent restaurants, perfect for picking up that unique Christmas gift. Our next stop in Totnes, known for its historic market overlooked by a Norman castle.
Enjoy a free day in Paignton, one of the English Riviera's brightest jewels or venture into neighbouring Torquay.<br />
We first head to Buckfast Abbey, home to a community of Roman Catholic Benedictine Monks. From here, we continue to the ancient city of Exeter, home to a Christmas Market that surrounds the Gothic cathedral.
We return home today.
Set in beautiful grounds, the Palace is situated in a desirable location on Paignton's Esplanade, directly opposite the seafront, with the town centre only a short walk away. Complete with onsite leisure facilities, you'll find individually decorated and tastefully furnished rooms.
