We travel north, stopping at Gretna Green, famously known as ‘The Gateway to Scotland’ and Britain’s historic marriage capital. Enjoy free time to explore before continuing to our hotel near Prestwick.
Enjoy a full-day scenic drive through the Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park. Travelling via Aberfoyle, we stop in Callander before continuing through breathtaking landscapes to Loch Lomond Shores, an award-winning shopping and visitor destination built in a converted waterside mill.
Today we follow the scenic Firth of Clyde to Glasgow. With its rich history and vibrant culture, enjoy free time to explore museums, browse the shops, or simply soak up the atmosphere of Scotland’s largest city. Tonight, enjoy our traditional Burns Night celebration, complete with a bagpiper!
After a fantastic stay, we travel for a lunchtime visit to Carlisle. See how many of the three most famous city attractions (Carlisle Castle, Carlisle Cathedral and the award-winning Tullie House Museum) you can squeeze in before we begin the homeward journey early afternoon.
