We head to Oxford, the ‘city of dreaming spires’. After some free time for shopping and sightseeing, we continue to our hotel.
After breakfast, we head to the RHS Badminton Flower Festival for the whole day to experience a wonderful world of gardening splendour, set in the grounds of the Badminton Estate, home of the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort. Found within the beautiful South Gloucestershire countryside, this prestigious event marks the first time the Royal Horticultural Society has brought one of its world-renowned flower shows to the historic and picturesque grounds of Badminton Park, which has previously played host to many films and TV programmes, including the Netflix productions of Bridgerton, The Gentleman and the internationally acclaimed annual Badminton Horse Trials.
This morning, we explore the glorious Cotswolds, with visits to Stow-on-the-Wold and Broadway before our return journey home.
