We travel to London this morning where we take you straight to Covent Garden, home to a vibrant and colourful mix of stores selling vintage, hand-crafted, and unique gifts. Here, you can marvel at the dazzling Christmas decorations, entertaining street performers, and the fabulous array of dining options. After some free time, we board our coach for a drive through the magical Christmas lights in London before we continue to our hotel tonight.
After breakfast, we enjoy more free time in London - perhaps head to Oxford Street, the world's greatest shopping high street, or wander through Trafalgar Square to see the magnificent Christmas tree presented each year to the city by Norway. This morning, we also offer the opportunity to visit Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, London's most extraordinary winter event. With festive markets, over one hundred rides from across Europe and live entertainment to explore, this event is not to be missed (must be pre-booked)! We will return home mid-afternoon.
Our accommodation for the trip is the modern Holiday Inn Slough Windsor. This 3-star hotel boasts a stylish brasserie restaurant, a Starbucks Café, and bright, spacious guest rooms equipped with tea/coffee facilities and internet access, ensuring a comfortable and connected stay.
