Following local pick-ups, we travel to the port of London Tilbury to board our cruise ship. Once settled on board, take time to relax, explore your surroundings and ease into the celebrations. This evening, the festive fun begins with a welcome event introducing our special cricketing legends guests. During the cruise, they will host an exciting programme of exclusive experiences, including receptions, meet-and-greets, a lively sports quiz, audience-with sessions and engaging individual shows.

At sea - enjoy a full day to discover the ship at your own pace. Unwind in the Green Sea Spa, sample the outstanding cuisine on board or simply sit back and enjoy quality time with fellow travellers as the festive season gets underway in style. With a line-up of cricket-themed entertainment and plenty of opportunities to relax, today is all about settling into the rhythm of life on board.

This morning we arrive in Bremerhaven, one of Germany's great maritime cities. As Christmas approaches, the scent of roasted almonds drifts through the crisp sea air and the city glows beneath countless festive lights. The Christmas Market offers a wonderfully atmospheric experience, with seasonal stalls, warming treats and plenty of festive cheer. Bremerhaven is also ideal for those interested in maritime history, with highlights including the German Maritime Museum and the chance to step aboard a decommissioned U-boat.

Our next port of call is Ijmuiden on the Dutch coast, a gateway to the North Sea with a distinctive maritime character. You may choose to explore the local area, including the North Sea Canal and the city's coastal surroundings, or join an OPTIONAL excursion to Amsterdam. In the Dutch capital, sparkling lights, historic canals and festive markets create a memorable seasonal atmosphere. Browse charming boutiques, enjoy winter delicacies and soak up the city's rich culture at this special time of year.

This morning we arrive in Zeebrugge on Belgium's coast, where maritime heritage and North Sea scenery combine to create a charming stop. Spend time discovering the historic port, visit the Maritime Museum or savour Belgian flavours in a seaside café. Alternatively, join an OPTIONAL excursion to Bruges, the enchanting capital of Flanders. With its tree-lined canals, medieval streets and beautiful architecture, Bruges is perfect for exploring on foot. At the Winter Glow Christmas market, browse decorated stalls, sample seasonal treats and search for artisanal gifts amid a truly magical festive setting.

After breakfast on board, we disembark in London Tilbury, where our coach will be waiting for the return journey home, ending our festive cruise filled with Christmas markets, time at sea and memorable moments with legends of the game.

Ambassador Ambience

The first lady of the sea: the word ‘Ambience’ derived from the French word for ‘surrounding’, Ambassador’s goal is to create the optimum atmosphere onboard, one that brings out the best in everyone.

With an average 1,400-guest capacity and careful configuration, she offers both a feeling of spaciousness and freedom, whilst retaining that sense of intimacy and camaraderie we each crave; it’s whatever makes you comfortable.

Entertainment-wise, she really will spoil you for choice. Let your hair down at the Observatory and bring out your finest ensembles for The Palladium. Whether you like it shaken or stirred, she has numerous bars to whet your whistle, including Raffles Bar, Botanical Lounge, SW19 and The Purple Turtle Pub.

Dining options are plentiful at our Buckingham restaurant or the Borough Market, with plentiful cuisine options, and for those wanting to soak in nature’s glory, we have our glorious Alfresco Grill. Wining and dining are more than fine at Saffron*, Sea & Grass* or our deluxe Chef’s Table*, where we offer a speciality gastronomic experience that’s not to be missed.

Put your best cards forward at Aces & Eights bridge and card room and the Ambassador Casino or revive and renew at the gym and Wellness Centre. Other facilities include Kapoor’s, our onboard crafting studio, Brontë’s library, the shopping galleria, not to mention a swimming pool, two hot tubs and a large screen for outdoor movies. Sound good?
