On the way to our hotel, we call at Gretna Green. Enjoy this quaint village, the gateway to Scotland, with a chance to explore the blacksmith's shop and pick up some quintessential Scottish gifts before we head to this evening's hotel.
Enjoy a full-day excursion to explore Edinburgh today. Visit the imposing castle or world-famous Princes Street before the feast of festive treats at Edinburgh's Christmas Market. Set in the historic heart of the city, enjoy delicious food and drink with traditional crafts at the Scottish Market on George Street, pick up unique gifts and goods at the European Market in the Mound Precinct, or choose presents for the wee ones in the Children's Market, part of Santa Land in Princes Street Gardens. Please note that dinner is not supplied on this night to allow maximum time in Edinburgh.
