After a delightful breakfast, our Austrian hosts will take you for an introductory walking tour of the picturesque riverside village of Bruck. In the afternoon, we head to the bustling resort town of Zell Am See for a relaxing cruise on the Zeller See, a stunning lake surrounded by panoramic mountains with free time to explore afterwards.
The day begins with a nostalgic journey on the Pinzgau Railway, travelling through one of the most charming landscapes in the Alps. Travelling from Zell Am See to Mittersill, we follow the mountains to the mighty Krimml Waterfalls. We return to our hotel for dinner before travelling by coach to experience the Magic Lake Show, a marvellous demonstration of dancing water, music and light beneath the sky.
Get ready to climb mountains from the comfort of our coach as we drive along for the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. As we climb over eight thousand feet, be sure to keep a lookout for local wildlife, such as golden eagles, ibexes and vultures, that call these mountains. We also include a visit the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe visitor centre, which views the Grossglockner, Austria's tallest mountain and the Pasterze Glacier, the largest in Europe.
Our tour comes to a close as we travel to our overnight hotel.
