After pickups, our journey begins in Skipton, the gateway to the majestic Yorkshire Dales. This picturesque market town boasts a renowned 900-year-old castle, a romantic ruined priory, and a historic cobbled High Street, all steeped in rich history. After free time to explore, we continue to our hotel.
This morning, we visit Bowness-on-Windermere, nestled on the fringes of England's largest and most impressive lake, where we include a boat cruise where we enjoy fantastic views of the many islands, mountains and lake scenery. We also make an afternoon visit to the charming town of Ambleside, enveloped by picturesque countryside. Here, you can indulge in a shopping spree at the numerous arts, crafts, and jewellery shops before returning via Coniston Water.
Before returning home, we spend some time in the historic old market town of Kendal, the gateway to the Lake District, situated in the valley on the banks of the River Kent.
Our spacious hotel is located on the edge of the Lake District. It offers modern rooms and facilities such as a bar, restaurant, and free Wi-Fi throughout the property.
